60 Years On Page
2006 saw our 60th Anniversary.
The company started back in 1946 (see our heritsage page ) and keeps on going in
leaps and bounds. What was just an idea in our founder Roy Darby's mind all those
years ago is still going in full swing.
The company has many memembers that have stayed true and have performed for
many years with us, and they all are still enjoying their hobby.
Majority of our shows have been performed at The Library Theatre, Luton. The
only real exception to this is when we performed 'A Boy With A Cart' in many local churches
many years ago.
We have seen many changes at the theatre, new seats, new bar area and most
recently new lifts but we like the rest of the local theater goers in Luton are hoping
the council will provide us with a brand new modern theatre - we can but hope..
We celebrated our 60 years with a 60 Anniversay Disco, Elvis Night,
Themed Night and much more.
