Welcome to The Phoenix Players Website.
Since becoming Chairman in January 2009, I have been looking
around at all our members and realised what a diverse group we are. Our age range is from
teenagers to septuagenarians. We come from all walks of life, working in a variety of jobs.
Some are still students and some are retired.
However we all have one thing in common. We love musical theatre and enjoy being involved in putting on a show
whether on stage, back stage, helping with the scenery, lighting, sound or costumes.
Added to all that, we are a very friendly group who mix socially quite apart from rehearsals.
Would you like to join us? If you enjoy singing, dancing and acting or would be interested in helping with the scenery
or costumes or being part of the backstage crew, why not long come along and meet us.
Our regular rehearsal night is Wednesday from 8pm until 10pm at St Augustine's Church Hall,
Icknield Way, Luton. We sometimes have Friday rehearsal's too, but often only nearer the show.
