Honor Blackman, (National tour, and West End); book and lyrics for ‘Tales My Lover Told
Me’ (King’s Head Theatre, Islington); book and lyrics for ‘The Last Fattybottypuss in the
World’ (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre); book for ‘It’s Only Make Believe’ (Upstairs at the
Gatehouse,Highgate), book and music/lyrics for ‘Boys in the Buff’ (starring Faith Brown,
Edinburgh Festival)
He wrote a one-woman show based on the life of Sophie Tucker ‘Sophie Tucker’s Last One
Night Stand’ (New End Theatre, Hampstead, transferred to King’s Head Theatre, Islington,
and Edinburgh Festival).
His new musical (with music by Denise Wright): ‘Emerald’ gained workshop productions in
Seattle and Chicago - directed by Martin Charnin (lyricist and director of ‘Annie’)
His play ‘Marlene and Noel’ (starring Kate O’Mara) was produced at the New End Theatre,
Hampstead in 2008, and went on a No 1 tour in 2009, including Windsor and Guildford.
His original musical ‘Hetty Feinstein’s Wedding Anniversary’ was also produced at the New End Theatre in 2009 to sell-out audiences.
His TV writing credits include episodes of the Carlton soap opera ‘London Bridge’, Channel TV’s ‘Island Life’, Channel 5’s teen serial ‘Risk’, and the BBC’s ‘Doctors’. (His children’s comedy drama series ‘Big Girl Now’ is in development with ‘Childsplay’, and his screenplay ‘Rock Swap’ is in development with Screen South)
